South Africa national football team Bafana Bafana is getting that 'feel good' factor back as they plot a win over South Korea. Captain Ronwen Williams says the belief is back in the side following their draw with Czech Republic this week. The team is confident they can get the win they need against South Korea to advance to the knockout rounds at the World Cup. Williams admits the side were low after their dismal 2-0 opening loss to Mexico, which was less about the result and more the poor performance of the side. The draw with the Czechs has given them hope, though getting a win against a polished South Korean outfit will be no easy feat. Williams was quoted by TimesLive, saying the team has the feel-good factor now and will be more positive going into the next game. He hopes they can carry on from the way they finished against Czechia. Williams sees plenty of fighting spirit in this Bafana squad and knows they will not go down without a fight. There is genuine brotherhood among players, and that's why when they have their backs to the wall, they can pull through. The experience of coach Hugo Broos came through because he just left them for two days after the Mexico loss. He didn't talk or anything, and on Sunday night they did their analysis, and he showed them what they could have done better. From Monday, focus and spirit slowly came back. A victory against South Korea will most likely take Bafana through to the round of 32, possibly as the second-placed team in the pool if already-qualified Mexico don’t lose to the Czechs. But at the very least, four points should be enough to advance as one of the best third-placed sides in the pool stage. Williams doesn't want to experience silence and pain like he did after the loss to Mexico. The most disappointing thing was losing the game and all the negative press and talk around them. It hurt even more that their own people were negative, but two days after that, they were back. The team has younger players in camp, and the good thing is that they are experiencing all these setbacks at a young age. You can just imagine how they are going to be in a few years' time. The team is ready to face South Korea and give it their all.
