: ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula accused the domestic and international-funding-guiled March and March movement of deliberately attempting to destabilize the democratic South Africa. He highlighted that both domestic and international actors are providing financial backing to efforts designed for this destabilization, with political interests at the helm.

Mbalula made his accusation during a press conference focused on political developments and ongoing illegal immigration protests in South Africa. He claimed that the movement's call for people to vote for IFP in Johannesburg was a clear indication of its manipulation by political hands.

He further emphasized that leaders distanced from Ngizwe Mchunu did not emerge as an innocent and civil society entity. On the contrary, they repeatedly urged isolation of ANC, while other parties welcomed March and March figures. His assertion was accompanied by booing of ANC representatives at gatherings related to movement.
